The Jewish Center of the Moriches Board of Directors held its Annual General Membership meeting on Sunday Feb 1st, 2026 at 10 am.  Bagel, Lox, cookies and light drinks were enjoyed by all attending. The year-end financial report was presented and the general state of the Temple and the path forward in the next year was discussed. Brad Kolod­ny is the President of the Jewish Historical Society of Long Island and has pho­tographed more than 600 syn­a­gogues in 13 coun­tries over the last 30+ years.  He has worked for  The New York Times  since 1996 and is an active mem­ber at Mid­way Jew­ish Cen­ter in Syos­set, NY.   From Great Neck to Mon­tauk, Brad has vis­it­ed and doc­u­ment­ed every cur­rent and for­mer syn­a­gogue build­ing on Long Island including The Jewish Center of the Moriches.
